What Causes You to Rejoice

Passage: The Gospel According to Luke Luke 10:1-24

There are many false preachers, proclaiming the gospel of prosperity, leading people to believe that they can live their best life now. They teach that prosperity and blessing come if you have enough faith. If you have been sharing the gospel with some that has been ensnared by this thinking, it is probably discouraging.


How often are you discouraged in your evangelism? Are you discouraged because you didn’t speak when you should have? Are you discouraged because you compare yourself to someone who seems to be better at sharing the gospel than you? Are you discouraged because you share and nothing happens? Maybe you have too much on your plate, and there seems to be no time to share the gospel with others. Find encouragement today in the words of Jesus to His disciples in Luke 10.
