Passage: The Gospel According to Luke Luke 11:14-26

Have you ever regretted a choice you made? Maybe it was a choice of an entrée at a restaurant. You look over at what someone else has and you instantly have “order regret. What if the stakes are higher than something as simple as choosing from a menu? What if the choice effects eternity? When you choose to follow Jesus, you enter a relationship.


Some people who encounter Jesus, reject Him. That rejection could be based on desire or indifference. When you watch those who reject Jesus go on to do live what appears to be a prosperous, happy life, do you wonder if you’ve made the wrong choice? Do you think you are missing out? Luke wrote this book so that you may have certainty about Jesus and your choice to follow Him. (Luke 1:4) In this passage, Jesus will take apart the rejections, bit by bit, to show us all that we can trust Him.
