Series: Revelation: Following Our Victorious King

The Heavenly Throne Room

April 07, 2024 | Zach Schlegel
Passage: Revelation 4:1-11

When you work on something and think you are headed in the right direction, it is frustrating to realize that you are not. What are you working for? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What do you see as important, worth doing, or valuable? The answer to these questions could include something that gives you pleasure, purpose, or significance.

It’s one thing to waste an hour, but what if you waste a year, a decade, or even your whole life. Would you want to know that you are going in the wrong direction before it is too late?

Revelation 4 gives us a glimpse into the Holy of Holies. God is on the throne. Our sin has a way of distorting our spiritual vision. Revelation 4 acts like a pair of spiritual lenses, bringing reality in focus.
