Series: Finding Joy in a Discontented World

Trusting the Providence of God

June 22, 2025 | Jamie Dunlop
Passage: Esther 1:1-10:3

In the book of Esther, we see God’s providence. It reminds us that God’s steadfast love is something that we can trust. (Romans 8:28; Psalm 25:10) God’s providence intersects at His sovereignty over all, His goodness and His eminence. It is the key to addressing all of your problems. Can you see how believing in the providence of God can change your life?

Do you have unshakable joy? Do you trust God’s providence as you should? The book of Esther was written for the Jews that had stayed in Persia. The key character in the book of Esther is not even mentioned in the book. It is God. In times when the hand of God seems hidden, you can trust in God.
