Seven Bowls of Wrath

July 21, 2024 | Zach Schlegel
Passage: Revelation 15:1-16:21

What is your heart’s response to the Bible’s teaching of God’s judgment or His wrath? Do you see it as something that is good or bad? Is it a truth that you are thankful for or embarrassed by?

God’s wrath is not an out-of-control rage from wounded pride. It isn’t a divine temper tantrum. It is a strong and settled opposition to all that is evil that arises out of His very nature. It is a burning zeal for what is right coupled with a hatred for what is evil.

Some will curse God for His judgment. Those in Heaven will praise Him for His judgment. Why is that? What do the heavenly residents see? Why can we praise God for His judgment this morning?
